Mission Statement
The mission of Chamber-Main Street Sac City is to promote the economic, social and political life of Sac City and its surrounding trade area.
Goals
- To establish and sustain a revitalization program which reflects community spirit, involvement, and positive attitudes
- To strengthen and broaden the economic base of Sac City
- To improve the physical appearance of the commercial district using downtown as an initial focal point
- To market Sac City through innovative promotions and activities in the commercial district and to showcase the unlimited advantages of Sac City
Chamber-Main Street Sac City works to achieve these goals through four main committees.
- Business Improvement Committee
- Responsibilities of this committee include downtown assessment, business retention, expansion and recruitment, and real estate development.

- Promotion Committee
- Responsibilities of this committee include three main areas: retail promotion, special events, and image development.

- Organization Committee
- The responsibilities of this committee include communication, fund-raising and volunteer development.

- Design Committee
- The responsibilities of this committee include building improvements, public improvements around business properties, window displays and visual merchandising, and historic preservation.
Services Provided
Chamber-Main Street provides a variety of services to our members including: cooperative advertising, design assistance, and 0% interest loans for building improvements such as: facade, roof repairs and interior improvements. Chamber-Main Street also organizes all of the major special events for Sac City.
Other Service Organizations
Many businesses and social clubs, such as Lions, Kiwanis, Wa-Tan-Ye and Toastmasters have chapters in Sac City. The Chamber-Main Street office can provide an up-to-date listing of organizations and officers.
