Making it Happen
January 1, 2012: Making It Happen is Sac City Chamber Main Street’s slogan. Your CMSSC board and committees have always been an active organization and are becoming even more active in this time of transition. Applications for a new chamber director are due to us by December 30th. We hope to have several quality candidates to choose from and have a new director hired as soon as possible. In the meantime, the board of directors and committees are continuing the mission of the organization, to promote Sac City!
Several committees have been hard at work the last couple months preparing next year ’s budget, selecting leadership roles for the coming year, planning our investment drive, preparing for the annual meeting and working on upcoming promotional events for 2012. We will continue this work and pick up the slack of the day to day activities until a director is hired. We aren’t perfect, mistakes may be made during this transition and we please ask you for your patience at this time. But more importantly we are asking for your input. Please feel free to reply back to this newsletter with any suggestions or comments you have about the upcoming year. Or please feel free to call any board member, listed in the column of this newsletter.
As mentioned, we are preparing for the upcoming year with our investment drive. Board members will be in contact with you soon to talk to you about our investment in Sac City Chamber Main Street. Be assured the Sac City Chamber Main Street board members are Making It Happen and we look forward to your support in 2012. We also look forward to the new opportunities and ideas a new executive director will bring to our community. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
