Kiwanis Kite Tournament - The oldest annual kite tournament in the world (since 1925) for children and adults held the end of April.
Fireman's Easter Egg Hunt - Sponsored by the volunteer fire department as a treat for the area children.
Sac County Expo - A two day event the first weekend in May showcasing Sac County's businesses, products and services.
Memorial Day Celebration - An annual event recognizing the Veterans of Foreign Wars and emphasizing patriotism.
Kiwanis Pancake Day - An annual event held the end of February sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club.
Booster's Tournaments - Every February the Sac Booster Club sponsors basketball tournaments for boys and girls grades 5 through 8.
Main Street Recognition of Historic Preservation Week - During Historic Preservation week in May, Chamber-Main Street Sac City sponsors activities based around Sac City's historic fabric.
BASC, Bike Around Sac County - A one day biking adventure where county residents show their hospitality to visitors and local riders. Not only does this first weekend in June event serve as a practice run for RAGBRAI participants, it also highlights the Sauk Rail Trail.
Chautauqua Days Celebration - Held on the 4th of July weekend, features performance in the historical Chautauqua building, athletic events, a parade, music, fireworks, car show and the Raccoon River Rubber Duck Race.
Sac County Fair - Held late summer, provides entertainment for both young and old and an opportunity for both to proudly present judging of their projects and livestock. Many products from the area are also displayed.
Western Iowa's Cushman Rally - Meets every August with planned rides and events. This event draws Cushman enthusiasts from many states.

Sac County Conservation Halloween Night Hike - Along with other regularly scheduled events promotes conservation awareness and wildlife appreciation. Held the middle of October.
Von Ahn's Valley - One family's love of horses has spurred annual horse sales and roping events held every spring and fall.
Christmas Parade - An annual event held the evening after Thanksgiving, kicking off the holiday season featuring lighted entries.
